незаемные резервы (США): разница между собственными резервами банков (резервы в федеральных резервных банках плюс наличность в кассе) и заимствованиями у ФРС; показатель ликвидности банковской системы; рассчитывается ФРС еженедельно.

(незаемные резервы) Резервы, которые банк США получил в результате своей банковской деятельности, а не за счет займов у Федеральной резервной системы. Федеральный резервный банк рассчитывает эти показатели каждую неделю.

резервные требования: требование центрального банка к коммерческим банкам держать часть своих пассивов в форме наличности или беспроцентных вкладов до востребования в центральном банке; в США банки, не являющиеся членами ФРС, могут держать такие резервы также на транзитном счете в банке - члене ФРС; Совет управляющих ФРС устанавливает резервные требования в рамках "правила Д" относительно общего объема чековых счетов и депозитов, счетов НАУ, счетов в кредитных союзах, сберегательных счетов; все банки (кроме мелких - с депозитами менее 2,4 млн. долл.) должны поддерживать резервы на уровне 3% неличных срочных и евровалютных депозитов и 12% любых других депозитов; срочные депозиты со сроками более 1,5 лет освобождены от резервирования; в случае необходимости ФРС может вводить дополнительные резервные требования размером до 4% после консультаций с другими регулирующими органами, а по отношению к конкретным банкам - требования любого уровня на срок до 180 дней после консультаций с Конгрессом; резервные требования используются в качестве инструмента денежно-кредитной политики для ограничения роста денежной массы и регулирования ликвидности банков и денежного рынка; чем выше уровень резервных требований, тем жест-че денежная политика в целях сдерживания инфляции; см. borrowed reserves;
